Jennifer Lopez gave her athleisure a glam twist this weekend on the set of her newest movie.
Taking a break from filming “Shotgun Wedding” in the Dominican Republic, J-Lo showed off her chic off-duty style in pictures taken by makeup artist Kate Land. The ensemble matched a white sports bra-style crop top with classic beige sweatpants and layers of chunky gold jewelry.
As for footwear, the “Hustlers” star brought back one of her favorite sneaker silhouettes to complete the casual look. The chunky-soled pair comes courtesy of Alexander McQueen and has been a staple in Lopez’s closet for years now. Set with smooth white leather uppers, the Oversized silhouette is set atop a 1.5-inch platform lift with a subtle contrasting heel counter; you can shop Lopez’s choice of a navy and white colorway for $540 at Saks Fifth Avenue.
Lopez continues to frequent the chunky sneakers for her street style and off-duty occasions. In December 2020, for example, the “On the Floor” singer opted for the design to complete her monochrome puffer jacket and sweatpants moment out in New York.
It was just last year when the “Let’s Get Loud” singer dipped her own toes into the footwear industry. Though she had previously worked with a mix of brands on collaborations and campaigns, the JLo Jennifer Lopez collection at DSW is the musician’s first solo line; the label includes a variety of stylish footwear ranging from sky-high platforms and glittering pumps to strappy sandals, all retailing from $59 to $189.
As if all of her titles were not enough, the past few seasons alone, the “Maid in Manhattan” actress also has been featured in major fall ’20 campaigns as well as a few top names for spring ’21, too. She modeled for Versace, stars in ads for Guess and Coach on top of serving as a judge and executive producer for “World of Dance.” She also released a new J-Lo Beauty line earlier this season as well.
